Archbishop Mitty High School is a private, Roman Catholic high school located in San Jose, California, USA.
The department of Athletics is committed to enriching campus life through a program of interscholastic athletics and to promoting the development of qualities in the student-athlete that will serve the participating individual and the community. Towards that end, the Department offers competition for men and women as part of the educational program of the school. Currently the department offers 26 programs consisting of 62 teams, with a staff of over 100 coaches.
In any given year, over 900 students participate on an AMHS athletic team. This past year, Cal-Hi Sports recognized Archbishop Mitty for being the best in the state for women’s sports. The level of national and state recognition for the men’s and women’s teams is historic.
